Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm)

A Taste of What You'll Do

Join our glass bottle manufacturing team as a Furnace Apprentice and build hands-on experience in furnace and batch plant operations within an industrial facility. In this role, you will help keep critical production equipment operating safely and effectively while developing specialized knowledge through an apprenticeship program.

You will monitor glass melting furnaces, inspect operating conditions, measure temperatures, and adjust manual process controls when necessary. You will also troubleshoot operating abnormalities, complete furnace repairs and maintenance, monitor emissions and emission-control equipment, and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Your work will include operating batch weighing, mixing, and transportation equipment, as well as monitoring the basement return cullet system. You will contribute to a collaborative manufacturing environment while following applicable quality, environmental, and safety requirements.

What You'll Need



  • High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Required to successfully pass assessment
  • Required to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Required to be 18 years or older.
  • Required to complete apprenticeship program.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
  • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
