The Senior Specialist, Plant Finance serves as a primary finance business partner for the Rockrimmon and Colorado Springs manufacturing facilities. This role supports plant leadership by providing financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and operational decision support to drive productivity, profitability, and financial performance. The position collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Corporate Finance to ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and achievement of business objectives.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, manufacturing finance expertise, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations for operational leaders. The role includes ownership of plant financial reporting, annual operating plans (AOP), inventory analysis, capital expenditure support, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities align closely with manufacturing finance support for two Colorado Springs-area facilities.

We are seekingaSenior Specialistto join our team to help supportsitesinColorado Springs, CO and Rockrimmon, Colorado Springs, CO.The SeniorSpecialistprovides financial decision support for the assigned manufacturing plants and is a key business partner to Plant Management in the Advanced Purity Solutions (APS)Division.The individual's responsibilities are toassistin the maintenance of theplant cost accounting processes and to provide operational/cost accounting analysis in support of plant operations. This position will report tothePlant Finance Lead.

WhatYou'llDo:

  • Analyze,understandand interpret financial results; provide insightful and actionable feedback/recommendations for management inidentifyingopportunities for improvement.
  • Supportmonthly/annualforecasting/budgeting;
  • Ensure the plant financial forecasts and budgets are aligned with Operational,APSDivision and Corporate goals;
  • Support the establishment ofstandard costing rates and partner with Operations to update material cost, BOM and routings for cost roll;
  • Support and review proposedproductivity projects;
  • Review/explainmanufacturingvariances;
  • Business/Operationsdecisionsupportthrough analysis;
  • Providetimelyplant results and drive accountability;
  • Complete month end close tasks ensuring that financial statements related to the Plantsare properlystatedand conform togenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP), including inventory valuations and reserve amounts;
  • Provide financial education/training and guidance to non-finance employees.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financeor related field, with 3-5years experience preferred;
  • Financialmodeling andanalysis experience;
  • Cost accounting knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;
  • Knowledge ofgenerally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP) and internal control concepts;
  • Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills;
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic global environment;
  • Proactive, future-looking, positive attitude;
  • Proficient SAP,Exceland PowerPoint skills; Business Objects and/or SAP BPC a plus;
  • Strong communicationskills; ability to summarize and clearly communicate financial analysis tonon-financial business partners.

  • Successful business partnership with site, business unit and division leadership through forecast/budget alignment,timelycommunication of financial results/risks/opportunities and adhoc analyses/modeling support;
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement through identification, vetting, and tracking of improvement projects.
