Scheduler - 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating the flow of materials and product from raw components through shipping to the customer. Coordinates scheduling, expediting, and interfacing with other departments to receive and share information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to optimize the production to meet customer and business needs
• Process MDR's and DMR's to ensure continuous product flow
• Use MAPICS to perform transactions, perform cycle counts, and split lots as needed
• Partner with Planners to understand current and projected issues, and recommend resolutions
• Offload pending jobs from work areas to reduce bottlenecking and maximize efficiency
• Maintain proficiency and understanding of the responsibilities for material handling, cribs, shipping, and receiving

Job Skills & Abilities:

• Read, reference and interpret written and verbal instructions; always following established standard procedures
• Maintain necessary records; work is subject to audited inspections

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years' manufacturing or Production Control experience.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing areas and capabilities

Physical Requirements:

• May include: standing, walking, bending, reaching, grabbing, twisting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Working Hours are 2:00 pm to 10:00 PM
