Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of construction materials, supplies, and equipment to customer and jobsite locations. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, maintains positive customer relationships through professional service, and complies with all safety and DOT regulations. The position also supports warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory management, and order preparation, while maintaining company vehicles and equipment in a safe and organized condition. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivers a wide variety of construction supplies, equipment, and jobsite materials to customer locations and project sites
• Loads, unloads, inspects, and safely operates company delivery vehicles
• Verifies accuracy of deliveries and obtains necessary delivery documentation and signatures
• Maintains and strengthens customer relationships through professional and courteous interactions
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills to resolve delivery challenges while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Performs daily vehicle inspections and promptly reports any maintenance issues
• Maintains clean, organized, and safe company vehicles and equipment
• Assists with warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory management, and order fulfillment as needed
• Follows all company safety policies and DOT regulations

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial, industrial, construction, or equipment-related environment
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and jobsite operations preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Class A CDL preferred but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus
• General mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance knowledge preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to safely load, secure, and transport materials and equipment
