What You'll Do As a Marketing Coordinator, you'll support SSR's marketing and business development efforts by developing clear, compelling, and on-brand communications while coordinating proposals, presentations, events, and marketing activities. You'll work closely with marketing, business development, and technical teams to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables that support SSR's pursuits and client relationships.
- Compose, edit, and produce a variety of marketing and business communications, including proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, letters, newsletters, reports, articles, and other materials.
- Coordinate information and content intake for proposals and other marketing deliverables; communicate assignments, deadlines, and schedules to team members.
- Organize and track proposal activities to help ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Proofread and edit assigned materials to ensure quality, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to SSR brand standards and client requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of client meetings, conference calls, site visits, interviews, and presentation planning sessions.
- Support marketing and business development teams with pursuit coordination, client information, and marketing planning activities.
- Maintain marketing information systems and CRM databases, including proposal, submittal, project, client, and subconsultant information.
- Assist with tracking pursuits and keeping CRM and marketing databases accurate and up to date.
- Provide creative and administrative support for marketing campaigns, client events, trade publications, promotional materials, public relations efforts, and other marketing initiatives.
- Assist with trade show and conference logistics, including staffing coordination, materials, displays, signage, and promotional items.
- Assist in planning and executing special client events in coordination with internal stakeholders, vendors, and other partners.
- Participate in industry events and professional activities to build industry knowledge, develop relationships, and support SSR's brand presence.
- Collaborate with members of the marketing team by sharing workload, resources, and knowledge to meet deadlines and department priorities.
- Perform other marketing and business development support duties as assigned.
Who We're Looking For Minimum Requirements:
- A four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to produce accurate, polished, and professional materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively with marketing, business development, technical, and administrative teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing, communications, business development, proposal coordination, or a related field, preferably within the architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services industry.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design software.
- Experience with CRM platforms and marketing databases, such as Cosential.
- Understanding of proposal development, statements of qualifications, interview presentations, and professional business communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an understanding of brand consistency and formatting standards.
- Confident presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate vendors, events, meetings, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Collaborative, customer-focused approach with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
