Join Macquarie's Real Estate Credit team within the Risk Management Group, where you will play a key role in the independent assessment and oversight of real estate investments across a diverse portfolio of asset classes. Working alongside experienced credit professionals, you will evaluate complex transactions, provide risk analysis across the capital stack, and contribute to informed investment decisions while building deep expertise in real estate credit and risk management.

What role will you play?

As an Associate in the Real Estate Credit team, you will support the assessment, approval, monitoring, and reporting of credit, equity, and asset risks. You will gain exposure to multifamily, office, industrial, hotel, and data center properties, as well as investments across the capital stack, including senior mortgage loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and common equity. Through practical, on-the-job learning, you will build experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and presentation development. You will partner with colleagues and business leaders on meaningful and challenging work while building your professional network across the organization. Support from your manager and an aligned mentor will help you develop a deeper understanding of the financial services and risk management industry.



What you offer

  • A completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Finance or a related discipline; recent graduates and candidates with one to two years of relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • An interest in financial services, particularly credit risk analysis, financial analysis, and due diligence.
  • Strong critical-thinking and numerical skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence using Excel.
  • A proactive, resourceful, and positive approach, supported by a strong work ethic.
Salary range for this position: $90,000 - $110,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
