Description Nitsch Engineering is seeking a Civil Project Designer to join our team in our Richmond, Virginia location. As we continue to grow our market share, we are focused on adding talented team members who will help us build on our successful model of client delivery. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of design documents for land development projects including utilities, site layout, grading, roadway design, and construction details in compliance with Nitsch's standards and our QA/QC policy Use standard engineering formulas to create calculations for roadway design, site design, utility design, and stormwater management Obtain permitting for public, commercial, and institutional site design Requirements BS in Civil Engineering 0-4 years of work experience A basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D and HydroCAD software Effective communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines are necessary Must have either taken or plan to take the FE test in the near future As an employee-owned firm, we're proud to offer rewarding ownership opportunities that reflect our shared success.
