About the Role:

Join Dunkin' at MDW Airport, a high-volume, quick-service cafe serving fresh coffee, espresso drinks, donuts, and breakfast favorites to travelers on the go.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to lead daily operations, drive team performance, and ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service in a fast-paced airport environment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume quick-service operations, enjoys leading teams on the floor, and takes ownership of both speed of service and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including early morning openings, peak rush periods, and closing
• Coach, develop, and schedule team members to deliver fast and consistent guest service
• Maintain Dunkin' brand standards for beverage quality, food presentation, and cleanliness
• Monitor speed of service and adjust staffing to meet peak travel demand
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls
• Oversee cash handling and ensure accurate reporting
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
• Support a positive team culture focused on accountability and performance

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in quick-service, coffee, or high-volume food and beverage
• Experience with Dunkin' or another national franchise brand preferred
• Experience leading teams, managing labor, and controlling costs
• Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP or ServSafe
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
