The Supplier Marketing Intern will:

• Assist with day-to-day Supplier Marketing tasks and departmental projects.
• Support Supplier Marketing Managers and Specialists with ongoing marketing initiatives and supplier-related activities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas during planning and brainstorming sessions.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners on various projects and business initiatives.
• Conduct research, gather insights, and analyze data to support business objectives and supplier growth opportunities.
• Help translate data, supplier performance insights, and project findings into clear business recommendations.
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and maintenance of organized project records.
• Support process improvement initiatives that contribute to greater efficiency and scalability.
• Gain exposure to supplier marketing strategies, campaign execution, business operations, and supplier relationship management.
• Complete additional responsibilities and special projects assigned.

Capstone Project

Throughout the internship, the intern will complete a capstone project focused on a meaningful Supplier Marketing opportunity, business challenge, or process improvement initiative.

The capstone project will provide opportunities to:

• Gain practical experience supporting Supplier Marketing programs and initiatives.
• Develop a deeper understanding of DigiKey's business, suppliers, customers, and marketing operations.
• Strengthen business skills such as communication, project management, problem-solving, research, and data analysis.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Develop storytelling and presentation skills by turning research, data, insights, and project findings into a clear narrative for stakeholders.
• Build professional relationships and expand their network across DigiKey.
• Contribute to Supplier Marketing's mission of delivering scalable marketing solutions that drive supplier success and customer engagement.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

The ideal candidate will be a current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, Management, or a related field.

Grow storytelling skills by turning data, insights, and project findings into clear recommendations that support business decisions. Build speaking engagement experience by sharing updates in team meetings, Friday morning calls, intern recap presentations, and supplier-facing conversations as appropriate. Explore related marketing teams and cross-functional partnerships to better understand DigiKey's broader marketing organization and discover potential areas of interest. Strengthen creative problem-solving by bringing forward ideas, applying current coursework, and contributing innovative solutions with support from the Supplier Marketing team.Understand how Supplier Marketing serves as the trusted and scalable growth engine connecting suppliers, segments, and customers while supporting DigiKey's continued growth and success.

The base pay range for this position is determined based on a candidate's relevant experience and their most recently completed year of undergraduate education and/or the graduate program (Masters/PhD) they are pursuing.

• For undergraduate applicants, the base pay range is $21.00 to $23.00.
• For graduate applicants, the base pay rate is $26.00 for applicants pursuing a Masters degree and $29.00 for those pursuing a PhD.
