The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Credentialed Trainer III delivers Epic and Information Technology (IT) training programs that prepare and support end users across RWJBarnabas Health. This position facilitates instructor-led Epic training, provides workflow reinforcement and activation support, and partners with Principal Trainers and project teams to maintain effective training programs.

As a senior Epic training resource, the Credentialed Trainer III works independently, supports complex training and application needs, and serves as a resource and mentor for Level I and II Credentialed Trainers.

• Delivering Epic application training using established curriculum, lesson plans, exercises, and training materials
• Serving as lead instructor or co-instructor for regularly scheduled Epic training courses
• Providing workflow reinforcement and end-user support during activations, implementations, upgrades, and other IT initiatives
• Partnering with Principal Trainers to review, update, and develop Epic training materials and curriculum
• Supporting end users with Epic application workflows and identifying opportunities for additional education
• Researching complex training and application support tickets through resolution and escalating detailed findings when needed
• Collaborating with project teams, application teams, and training staff to identify technology and learning solutions
• Performing training support functions such as General Float and Site Coordinator responsibilities
• Participating in IT Training initiatives, workgroups, and professional development activities
• Sharing best practices, application knowledge, and professional development takeaways with training and application teams
• Serving as a knowledge resource and mentor for Level I and II Credentialed Trainers

• You are an experienced Epic Credentialed Trainer who enjoys helping end users become confident with technology and workflows
• You are comfortable independently leading Epic training sessions for a variety of audiences
• You understand how clinical or operational workflows connect to Epic application functionality
• You enjoy developing and improving training materials in partnership with Principal Trainers
• You can research and troubleshoot complex learner, workflow, and application questions
• You communicate effectively with end users, application teams, project teams, and leadership
• You enjoy mentoring other Credentialed Trainers and sharing your Epic knowledge

• Associate degree
• 4+ years of Epic training experience as a Credentialed Trainer
• Credentialed Trainer status in at least two Epic applications
• Active Epic Certification or Accreditation in at least one Epic application
• Demonstrated knowledge of Epic workflows, training curriculum, and end-user education
• Ability to independently facilitate Epic training courses with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Strong presentation, facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established training and project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience supporting Epic implementations, activations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives
• Experience updating or developing Epic training curriculum and materials
• Experience researching and resolving Epic training or application support tickets
• Experience mentoring or supporting Level I and II Credentialed Trainers
• Healthcare training or healthcare IT experience
