Education Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Canadian Payroll Association certification preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience Requirements 5+ years of U.S. and Canadian payroll experience, preferably in a shared services or corporate payroll environment. Experience with global mobility, expatriate payroll, immigration support, and tax equalization processes. Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS systems such as Workday, UKG/UltiPro, Kronos Dimensions, or similar platforms. Strong background in payroll audits, tax compliance, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and customer service. Korean language skills preferred. Physical Capabilities Ability to work at a computer for extended periods while managing multiple systems and deadlines. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage confidential information, and work independently or within a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to various audiences. Job Duties Process payroll accurately and timely while maintaining HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll system data integrity. Manage payroll activities for global mobility employees, including expatriate assignments, tax equalization, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders in North America and South Korea to support employee mobility programs. Monitor payroll audits, accruals, reconciliations, general ledger postings, and compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations. Research and resolve payroll inquiries, service tickets, and payroll discrepancies while delivering excellent customer service. Support leave-of-absence administration, supplemental benefit calculations, and reporting requirements. Lead process improvements, payroll projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor payroll team members and provide training on payroll policies, procedures, and best practices.
