About the Team

We are a multidisciplinary healthcare communications research team focused on helping clients make smarter strategic decisions through research, analytics, and insight. Our work spans social listening, influencer research, digital and social campaign measurement, media analysis, and market research across agencies and practice areas.

Role Summary

This role will lead social and digital analytics work for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, with a strong emphasis on social listening, influencer identification and research, and reporting on organic campaigns. You will be a client-facing research leader who can translate data into clear strategic recommendations, manage multiple projects, and help shape how the team uses technology, automation, and new methods to deliver high-quality insights.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a trusted client partner and day-to-day contact, helping define the right research approach and counsel clients on implications
• Lead social listening and digital analytics projects from methodology design through reporting and delivery
• Conduct influencer identification, mapping, and research to support organic and influencer-led campaigns
• Oversee coverage capture, coding, synthesis, and insight development across social and digital sources
• Develop clear, compelling reports and presentations that connect findings to communications goals and client business needs
• Collaborate closely with internal team members, including mentoring junior staff and coordinating with senior stakeholders
• Use technology creatively to improve workflows, including AI-supported drafting and scripting for tools such as Apps Script
• Stay current on social platform behavior, digital measurement practices, and emerging tools relevant to health communications
  

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in communications research, social/digital analytics, media analytics, or a related field, ideally in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
• Deep experience with social listening, influencer research, and/or digital PR campaign measurement, especially for organic and influencer-led work
• Strong understanding of how social media operates in health communications, plus practical experience turning coverage into structured coding, reporting, and insight development
• Proficiency with social analytics tools such as Meltwater, Talkwalker, and/or scraping tools
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• A curious, tech-savvy, inventive mindset and willingness to experiment with new tools and workflows
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work well across teams and build trust quickly
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $140,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
