Network Implementation Engineer

Entarian is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to support the meshONE-Terrestrial (T) program. meshONE-T is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end-to-end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.

Overview/Job responsibilities:

Installs, upgrades, and troubleshoots network equipment and software
• Creates and maintains documentation relating to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
• Establishes and documents network technical support processes and procedures
• Practices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications
• Monitors and tests network performance and provides network performance statistics and reports
• Able to communicate effectively with other project groups such as cybersecurity, network, operations, and Project Management, during the installation and troubleshooting of system components
• Supports all updates to documentation when there is a change in the transport design and/or technologies, while collaborating with stakeholders
• CONUS/OCONUS travel required

* Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Layer 3 routing TCP/IP, Cyber Security Operations/Administration, RF/SATCOM Operations/Maintenance
* Understanding of networking and fundamentals of network troubleshooting
* Understanding of network transport design, equipment, and infrastructure
* Ability to work in remote locations with minimal support, lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and be comfortable working with your hands and using tools

Security Clearance: Current active Secret clearance and eligible for Top Secret/SCI

Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000

* Current Security + certification
* Knowledge of/experience with space mission systems
* Familiarity with VM, Linux, and/or Windows environments
* Experience with field-based work in government/contractor data centers and colocation facilities
