Indirect Business Development Manager

You will be part of our Service and Optimization team reporting to the Vice President, Service & Optimizationfor Quincy Compressor. In this role, your mission is to drive profitable growth through our indirect channel by strengthening distributor performance, developing new business opportunities, and executing effective aftermarket parts pricing strategies.You will contribute directly to how we create highquality products and solutions for our customers.

This role serves as the primary business partner for distributors while also providing leadership for parts pricing, price realization, discount governance, and margin improvement. The position works closely with Distributor Leadership, Sales, Service, Product Management, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service to increase market share, grow aftermarket revenue, improve profitability, and deliver a consistent customer experience.The successful candidate will combine strong distributor relationship management, commercial acumen, pricing expertise, and analytical capabilities to identify growth opportunities and translate business insights into measurable results. • Strong business development, channel management, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Strong understanding of aftermarket parts, distribution models, and indirect sales channels.
• Knowledge of pricing methodologies, price realization, discount management, and margin optimization.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret revenue, gross margin, price effect, volume, mix, cost, and profitability data.
• Strong relationship-building, influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate detailed analysis into concise, actionable business recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple distributors, pricing initiatives, and business priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, CRM, CPQ, and pricing or business intelligence tools.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% to 70%, based on business requirements.
