| Position Purpose |
In support of Dartmouth Libraries work to spark discovery, the Reference and Administration Specialist supports inquiry about and access to special collections and archival materials. Under the supervision of the Special Collections Librarian for Teaching and Scholarly Engagement, provides both on-site and remote reference services relating to special collections materials, monitors the Special Collections Reading Room, assists users with the handling of materials, and provides administrative support for operations of Rauner Special Collections Library.
This is a hybrid work location eligible position. |

- 3 plus years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a public service environment
- Experience working in a library or other cultural heritage institution
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work discreetly with sensitive of confidential materials
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
