Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

NRI Staffing is seeking dependable, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses for opportunities with our healthcare clients. Qualified candidates should have strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. Assignment locations and schedules vary by opportunity.

Compensation

$40 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN or licensed healthcare provider.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor vital signs, observe changes in patient condition, and communicate concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist with daily patient care needs and reinforce patient and family education.
• Follow infection control procedures and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license valid in the assignment's jurisdiction.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Required Credentials and Onboarding

Candidates should be prepared to provide:

• Current resume.
• Copy of LPN license, CPR card, and nursing diploma.
• Two supervisory references.
• Immunization and health screening documentation, as applicable to the assignment:
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster documentation.
• Hepatitis B series or declination.
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination.
• MMR.
• TB screening documentation, including PPD or chest X-ray as applicable.
• Tdap.
• Varicella.
• Proof of Universal Precautions training completed within the past year. NRI can provide training information if needed.

Selected candidates will also complete required employment forms, background screening authorizations, employment eligibility verification, and applicable skills assessments.
