Systems Architect

We are seeking an experienced Systems Architectto support the architecture, development, integration, and operation of mission-focused internet, cloud, mobile, and data exploitation capabilities.

This position combines expertise across AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure, network engineering, cybersecurity, mobile application analysis, data engineering, and ETL development. The Engineer will work with technical and operational stakeholders to design secure systems, analyze mobile applications and associated data, develop data ingestion capabilities, and transform structured and unstructured information into usable datasets for mission and analytical customers.

• Architect, design, implement, and maintain mission internet systems and supporting infrastructure.

• Design, configure, and administer cloud infrastructure within AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Support cloud networking, security, logging, provisioning, monitoring, and administration.

• Configure and troubleshoot VPN tunnels and associated network connectivity.

• Support network security and approved traffic-management or obfuscation capabilities within authorized environments.

• Perform technical analysis involving fingerprinting, signatures, and deconfliction.

• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.

• Configure and maintain LANs, VLANs, and VLAN tagging.

• Support system accreditation and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities.

• Implement security controls and perform system hardening in accordance with applicable security

• Perform authorized collection and technical analysis of data associated with domestic and foreign mobile applications.

• Conduct Android application emulation and mobile application analysis.

• Perform authorized reverse engineering and technical assessment of mobile applications.

• Analyze application behavior, associated data, and technical characteristics.

• Develop requirements and procedures for testing and assessing applications and systems.

• Perform image analysis, manipulation, and processing using Adobe Photoshop or comparable tools.

• Produce technical documentation supporting operational use of developed capabilities and analytical findings.

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BS degree and 11-15 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated experience architecting, designing, or implementing mission internet systems.

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure, including networking, security, logging, administration, and infrastructure provisioning.

• Experience with Android emulation, mobile application analysis, and/or authorized reverse engineering.

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPN tunnels.

• Experience with technical fingerprinting, signature analysis, and deconfliction.

• Experience supporting Assessment & Authorization (A&A), security controls, and system hardening.

• Experience configuring Cisco routers, LAN switching, and VLANs.

• Demonstrated experience collecting and analyzing data associated with mobile applications.

• Strong experience performing data analysis and identifying data sources, targets, definitions, mappings, and relationships.

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.

• Experience developing technical documentation for operational use.

• Experience triaging and troubleshooting complex data issues.

• Experience developing requirements for testing and assessing applications and systems.

• Experience securely handling and transferring sensitive data.

• Experience developing ETL/data ingestion solutions.

• Experience building databases and software applications supporting data transformation and management.

• Experience with data modeling, testing, and documentation.

• Experience with data management practices including versioning and backups.

• Experience gathering and translating requirements from analysts, users, and operational customers.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative technical team.
