Position Summary:
ENMU-Roswell, a Hispanic-Serving Institution, seeks a vibrant, Tenure-Track (10-month) Assistant Professor of English to join our faculty. Applicants with experience teaching first year composition and rhetoric; who have experience with second language learners whose primary language is Spanish; and who have writing center and/or tutorial experience are especially encouraged to apply.

The selected candidate will engage a diverse student population in a range of courses including composition, literature, and professional writing.

At ENMU-Roswell, our classrooms are a delightful mix of ambitions where traditional transfer-bound students work alongside aspiring nurses, future welders, adult learners returning to rewrite their next chapter, and first-generation trailblazers. Nearly every student enrolls in one of our English courses, which are part of the University's liberal arts core.

Located in the heart of Southeast New Mexico, Roswell offers the perfect balance of small-town charm and outdoor adventure. With 50,000 residents, Roswell is a family-friendly community just an hour from mountain hiking and skiing and a short drive to the metropolitan hubs of Albuquerque and Lubbock.

ENMU-Roswell is a dedicated two-year technical and community college. Teaching is the heartbeat of our campus. We are seeking a faculty member who takes pride in the full instructional cycle-from imaginative course design to active student assessment in both face-to-face and virtual classrooms.
