Mercy St. Louis' RN Career Path Program helps new and experienced RNs build strong clinical foundations in our Med/Surg service line and then transition into a specialty unit with support, mentorship, and a clear timeline.

Step 1: Start in Med/Surg (12-18 months) in one of these units:
* Observation Telemetry * General Med/Surg

* Neuroscience * Neurosurgical

* Oncology * Orthopedics * Trauma Surgical

Step 2: Transition to a specialty unit (based on readiness, openings, and fit), such as:

* Pediatrics / PICU * Med/Surg ICU

* Trauma/Neuro ICU * CVICU

* Emergency Department * Burn ICU * Float Pool

Qualifications:
Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school
License: Active RN license in Missouri (or compact, if applicable)
Certifications: Current BLS (AHA)
