Warehouse Order Picker

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills required for order picking, inventory verification, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to understand work instructions, safety procedures, and shipping documentation.

Experience Requirements

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, order picking, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience using powered pallet jacks, RF scanners, handheld devices, or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse safety procedures.
• Dependable, organized, and able to meet productivity goals while maintaining quality standards.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Frequent walking and continuous standing throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Must have near, far, and peripheral vision sufficient for warehouse operations and material handling.

Job Duties

• Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders accurately using pick sheets, RF scanners, or handheld warehouse technology.
• Verify product quantities and specifications to ensure accurate order fulfillment and on-time shipping.
• Replenish inventory, maintain stock levels, and organize warehouse locations for efficient operations.
• Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
• Transport completed orders to shipping and staging areas using approved material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and other warehouse functions as assigned by management.
