Bearing Assembly Associate

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately follow written work instructions, production schedules, and diagrams.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous learning in a manufacturing environment.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of previous manufacturing, production, machine operator, assembly, or warehouse experience.
• Experience working with hand tools, measuring devices, or production equipment is beneficial.
• Ability to perform detailed, hands-on work in a fast-paced production setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated with strong teamwork skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus; in-house training and certification may be provided.
• Ability to work independently while meeting production goals and deadlines.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing machinery, production equipment, and industrial tools.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, utility knives, and hot knives while following safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to oils, polymers, solvents, and related production materials.

Job Duties

• Review job cards, production schedules, work instructions, and diagrams to prepare customer orders.
• Mix raw materials and fill bearings, molds, and trays according to specifications.
• Operate manufacturing equipment, including injection molding and extrusion machines.
• Inspect products throughout production to ensure quality, accuracy, and ISO compliance.
• Clean, process, assemble, and rework bearing components as needed.
• Prepare finished products for inspection, packaging, and shipment.
• Maintain inventory of tools, fixtures, materials, and production supplies.
• Monitor production progress, communicate issues, and support on-time order completion.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with additional manufacturing and production responsibilities as assigned.
