Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to successfully complete and pass a basic math assessment.
• Strong understanding of inventory processes, data accuracy, and warehouse documentation.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with inventory management systems, order management systems, or warehouse management systems (WMS) in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment.
• Experience researching inventory discrepancies, product variances, and problem orders.
• Strong data entry, inventory reconciliation, and recordkeeping experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment, including forklifts, preferred.

• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy and quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with all levels of management.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and inventory reporting.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing warehouse-related tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and occasional work at heights.
• Ability to work overtime or non-standard hours based on business needs.

Job Duties

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, bin location variances, and inventory accuracy issues.
• Research and troubleshoot problem orders, receipts, and inventory transactions.
• Perform system entries to maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse locations.
• Conduct cycle counts, product counts, and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Stage materials within designated warehouse locations and support inventory flow.
• Operate warehouse equipment and material handling tools safely and efficiently.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and order management systems to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Follow quality assurance processes, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
