The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is a 22-bed unit that provides highly specialized care for patients of all acuity levels and ages, from newborns to adults. The CVICU cares for both medical and surgical patients with congenital and acquired heart disease, supporting them throughout their hospital journey from admission to discharge. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered critical care across the full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.

In 2024, the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit received the Gold Level Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). This prestigious recognition honors critical care units that demonstrate exceptional patient care, positive outcomes, and a commitment to nursing excellence, serving as role models for healthcare teams nationwide.

The Johns Hopkins All Children's HospitalPediatric RN Residency is dedicated to providing a 12-month foundational program for the graduate or otherwise eligible nurse to provide the support and knowledge to grow into a competent pediatric professional practitioner.

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital RN Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.

Qualifications

*BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must matriculate into a BSN.

* Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.

* BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum $36.07/hour - Maximum $36.07/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
