Position Summary

UNC REX Vascular Specialists, a well-established and growing vascular surgery practice within UNC Health Rex, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join its comprehensive vascular team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The incoming surgeon will join a collaborative group of experienced vascular surgeons and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering the full spectrum of vascular care, including open surgical, endovascular, and office-based procedures. This opportunity offers access to a large referral network, advanced technology, and a robust clinical infrastructure within one of North Carolina's most desirable metropolitan areas.

Candidate Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship or Integrated Vascular Surgery residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
  • Interest in building a busy elective vascular practice while contributing to regional vascular care initiatives
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration

Education Requirements:
* Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* DEA;MD
* BLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
