As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Console Patrol in Winston-Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support access control and alarm-related activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while helping create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and students by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare and educational facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
