Who You Are

You are a Compliance, Risk and Business Manager who helps strengthen Inovalon's compliance posture in a complex healthcare technology and data environment. You partner across Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Product, Operations, Commercial, and other teams to identify risk, meet regulatory and customer obligations, and embed compliance into business initiatives. In this role, you turn complex requirements into practical guidance, actionable remediation plans, and meaningful reporting that supports informed decision-making and operational effectiveness.

What You'll Do

  • Lead key healthcare compliance and risk management initiatives, coordinating activities across functions to support continuous improvement and effective program execution.

  • Conduct and manage compliance and risk assessments in partnership with Legal, Enterprise Procurement, Security, and other stakeholders to evaluate legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements.

  • Partner with business teams to identify, assess, and address healthcare regulatory and compliance risks related to operations, products, vendors, data use, and regulatory change.

  • Drive enterprise and product-specific compliance reviews and risk assessments, documenting findings, tracking actions, and escalating issues when appropriate.

  • Manage remediation efforts by monitoring corrective action plans, validating completion, identifying trends, and supporting risk-based prioritization.

  • Support third-party risk management activities by helping implement policies, processes, and controls that identify, assess, and mitigate vendor and business partner risks.

  • Develop and maintain compliance metrics, key performance indicators, dashboards, and trend analyses to measure program effectiveness and highlight emerging risks.

  • Prepare and present reports for senior management on compliance performance, significant initiatives, and healthcare regulatory and enterprise risk trends.

  • Collaborate effectively with U.S. and India-based partners across time zones to advance compliance, reporting, and operational priorities.

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, legal operations, internal audit, or a related function required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Experience supporting third-party risk management, vendor governance, or related compliance activities.

  • Experience working in a healthcare, healthcare technology, health data, or similarly regulated environment, with understanding of the regulatory and compliance considerations that affect enterprise risk.

  • Experience evaluating risks related to healthcare technology, health data, technology-enabled services, new products, vendors, business initiatives, and privacy considerations.

  • Experience conducting or coordinating compliance risk assessments, compliance reviews, audits, or control evaluations.

  • Experience developing management reports, dashboards, metrics, and data analyses to monitor remediation, identify trends, and support decision-making.

  • Strong project management, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.

  • Demonstrate growth potential and learning agility by quickly building knowledge in new compliance, operational, or business areas and applying that learning to improve outcomes.

  • Influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams, build credibility with senior management, and navigate differing viewpoints without direct authority.

  • Adapt effectively to shifting priorities, ambiguity, and fast-paced business needs while maintaining focus on execution and results.

  • Apply creative thinking to improve processes, solve compliance and risk challenges, and design practical solutions that support the business.

  • Use analytical skills to interpret data, assess trends, break down complex issues, and draw evidence-based conclusions.

  • Nice to have: experience supporting product compliance, regulatory compliance, or governance initiatives within a technology environment; experience collaborating across global teams, including U.S. and India-based stakeholders.
