Job Description

The Account Manager is a results-driven professional responsible for managing employer relationships, supporting clients seeking employment, and sourcing new job opportunities that drive business development.

The Account Manager will develop and manage a portfolio of accounts with recurring, high-volume recruitment needs and screen candidates based on employer specifications. The role combines strategic outreach with personalized client hiring support, ensuring job seekers from diverse backgrounds are matched with quality employment opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across various industries to identify job opportunities.
  • Conduct business development meetings, cold calling, and outreach activities, including attending events or job fairs, canvassing, and networking to expand employer partnerships.
  • Meet and exceed performance goals related to employer engagement, job placements, and client outcomes.
  • Track account activity, job leads, and placement outcomes using Salesforce and Excel.
  • Prepare reports and updates for leadership on account performance and client progress.
  • Deeply understand and communicate employer specifications to ensure skills, competencies, and other requirements are clearly understood.
  • Collaborate with career coaches and service teams to match job seekers to appropriate opportunities and provide feedback regarding candidate fit.
  • Screen job seekers from diverse backgrounds for client employment opportunities to accurately assess their skills, goals, and barriers to employment.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with employers and candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Support interview coordination, hiring events, and employer recruitment initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in employer relations, recruitment, workforce development, or related field
  • Demonstrated success in high-volume recruitment, business development, or job development
  • Proven ability to meet performance goals in a fast paced, metrics driven environment
  • Strong ability to assess candidate skills and match talent to employer needs with precision
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with multiple barriers to employment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM or case management systems preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese preferred
