Description

Responsibilities:



  • Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
  • Ensure quality service to our customers by meeting customer shipping requirements within the established time frames, and by communicating to internal contacts any warehouse issues that may impact customers.
  • Provide leadership, and ongoing training and development of warehouse employees at all levels.
  • Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
  • Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress.
  • Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the warehouse according to budget by ensuring accurate inventory and order selection, productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of storage space and equipment, and proper protection of stored materials and company assets.
  • Maintain safe work practices and housekeeping programs, as well as maintenance and upkeep of all equipment.
  • Oversee and execute all inventory control procedures ensuring maximum safeguard of the company's physical inventory.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication avenues with all departments.
  • Perform various warehouse duties, including but not limited to shipping, receiving, and heavy lifting and picking orders to meet deadlines and to ensure maximum efficiency of operations.
  • Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
  • Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the department head.
  • Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers.
  • Overseeing stock control and processing orders.
  • Carrying out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems when appropriate
  • Respond to and effectively coordinate with guest's needs via communication by email, fax and telephone.
  • Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements.
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Briefing leadership team, when applicable, on issues for that particular day.
  • Meet with guests to monitor the quality of service they are receiving.
  • Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment;
  • Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, and equipment.

  • The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.


Target Salary:



  • Target Salary Range is $53,500

Qualifications
Experience
Able to be confined to a small area for a long period of time (preferred)

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required (preferred)
5 years of prior warehouse / distribution experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles including supervision, inventory management, cost management and management of a profit and loss statement. (preferred)
Bachelor's Degree and or work experience equivalent (preferred)
