As a Security Guard Full Time TWIC Access Control Records Driver in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site personnel. You will support a secure environment through visible presence, routine security-related checks, and responsive customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining required access records.
• Monitor access points, alarm systems, and camera feeds as assigned, reporting unauthorized activity, equipment concerns, or unusual conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
