Our Security Officers support a logistics and distribution location by conducting routine unarmed patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.43 / Hour

21+ Years of Age (C101)
Candidates must be at least 21 years old at the time of application. This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulations

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates must have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with security protocols, badge issuance, and monitoring access to restricted areas. Relevant experience may include previous employment in security, facilities management, or related fields.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized access as directed by site procedures, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
