Overview The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for providing protection and communication with hotel guests and employees. He/she is also responsible for patrolling hotel premises to maintain security, detect and report fire, security and safety hazards and/or violations of Highgate Hotel's rules and regulations. Responsibilities Physical Requirements:
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Fundamental Requirements:
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous security, hospitality, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
Must pass a background check and MVR, and possess a valid driver's license
Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills, Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Work flexible schedules, and patrol for extended periods.
Basic computer skills required. Security
license,
CPR,
First
Aid,
and
AED
certifications
are
preferred.
Strong

to
guest
service,
safety,
incident
response,
and
confidentiality.
