As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, responding to access-control concerns and maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO certification is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
