Job Overview

The Supply Tech Associate learns and trains in the field of supply inventory at Children's Hospital Colorado. This position assists with supply chain activities related to product receipt, distribution and replenishment, and supporting department goals across the organization. Facilitate the receipt and placement of inbound medical supplies and other delivered product, both physically and in CHCO's ERP system.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  • 1. Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
    2. Trains to safely operate all equipment needed to perform job tasks including but not limited to handhelds, pallet jacks, carts, and carousels.
    3. Trains to become proficient in receiving product upon arrival, confirms quantity, inspects, and ability to sort and put away or deliver product when necessary as defined by departments standard processes.
    4. Assists with perform cycle counts and follow outdate procedures for all storage locations both departmentally and managed system PAR locations.
    5. Supports Supply Chain Management to ensure existing inventory satisfy targets as established by department leadership.
    6. Learns how to monitor excess, check expiration dates and waste within supply rooms and managed PAR locations.
    7. Assists with receiving vendor deliveries and manage outbound shipments of any product exiting the hospital.
    8. Assists with providing customer service to all clinical, business and support staff.

SCOPE AND LEVEL
Guidelines: Trains in the field and assists higher level personnel to acquire learning through practical experience.
Complexity: Performs routine and/or basic tasks common to the field. Procedures, methods, and techniques to be used are well established with options to be considered well defined. Tools, work aids, and materials to be used are specified.
Decision Making: Duties assigned are primarily routine, repetitive, and restricted in intricacy with little or no discretion in how they are carried out.
Communications: Contacts with team members, clients or the public where factual information relative to the organization or its functions are received, relayed, or a service rendered according to established procedures or instructions.
Supervision Received: Under close supervision, the employee receives training to develop skills and abilities in a specific line of work or general occupational area. Work product is subject to close, continuous inspection.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degrees
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Schedule/Shift

  • 20hrs PT

  • Monday - Friday 6am-10am

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $18.81 to $28.22
