Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

Logistics. Logistics interns support the movement, storage, coordination, and delivery of materials and aerospace products across the manufacturing system. Interns may work with transportation, warehousing, material flow, shipping/receiving, inventory movement, logistics planning, performance metrics, and process improvement while coordinating with operations and supply chain teams.

Potential internship assignments may include:

  • Analyze and improve material flow, warehousing, and transportation processes
  • Support logistics planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and process improvements
  • Coordinate material movement across manufacturing, suppliers, carriers, and internal customers

These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
  • Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Majoring in one of the following: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, Business Analytics, or other related fields
  • The ability to relocate and work onsite
