Asset Wealth Management Division (AWM) Legal Associate/Analyst - Paralegal (Dallas)

The Asset Wealth Management Division (AWM) Legal Associate/Analyst position presents an opportunity for talented and motivated candidates with an interest in alternative investments, finance and law. The role involves working directly with the attorneys in AWM Legal supporting the AWM Private business, including private equity, credit and real estate funds, and transactions.

We are looking for an individual with the following skills/qualifications:



  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage simultaneous matters under deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to articulate ideas clearly
  • Highly motivated and adaptable; the ability to work on a team of diverse individuals
  • Proactive; the ability to respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure, changing environment
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity
  • Keen interest in legal frameworks and finance/private equity
  • Experience with legal entity formation and knowledge of legal entity structures is a plus
  • Prior paralegal experience is a plus; JD not required


Responsibilities will include:



  • All aspects of legal entity creation, maintenance and dissolution including drafting/reviewing formation/governing documents and resolutions
  • Assisting with management of global entity database
  • Fielding internal and external inquiries regarding AWM corporate information
  • Assisting with anti-money laundering/KYC requests
  • Coordinating information across the firm for anti-trust filings and working with outside counsel in connection with anti-trust filings
  • Responding to regulatory-related requests and reviewing certain documents for compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Performing various other governance related tasks, as needed
