Your Job

This role sets and drives LIFT's data and AI strategy - turning fragmented real estate, HR, security/badge, occupancy, and financial data into trusted, decision-ready intelligence, and moving LIFT's AI experimentation from ideas to measured value. It is the primary link between LIFT's service-line leaders (demand) and our technical partners in Koch Technology and JLL Technology (supply).

Our Team

LIFT is Koch's leveraged capability for corporate real estate, combining business knowledge, real estate expertise, data, and technology to create long-term value.

What You Will Do

  • Translate service-line needs into a prioritized data and AI roadmap grounded in economic thinking - value first, technology as the enabler, not the starting point
  • Partner with Transaction Management, Lease Administration, Occupancy Planning & Management, Facilities Management, Experience Services, Capital and Finance leaders to frame functional and high-level technical requirements and set realistic expectations
  • Serve as the business-side owner of prioritization across service-line demand and Koch Tech / JLL Tech capacity to sequence, negotiate, and make trade-offs explicit against a single, visible intake and backlog
  • Set the strategy and prioritization for LIFT's Databricks data lake and analytics/BI direction, while platform build and administration transition to Koch Tech
  • Build on current experimentation and emerging points of view, separating useful AI opportunities from hype and moving the highest-value, feasible use cases into controlled pilots
  • Coordinate delivery through technical resources in Koch Tech and JLL Tech for high-impact pipelines and integrations
  • Leverage LIFT's core data domains (property information, financials, occupancy/utilization, operations, and HR-adjacent data) as assets to grow and mature to match business demand
  • Define ownership, quality standards, source-of-truth decisions, and responsible AI controls
  • Effectively partner with stakeholders to close material gaps in domains LIFT depends on but does not fully own.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience leading data/analytics strategy and turning business problems into prioritized, value-based roadmaps
  • Experience working in a modern data platform (Databricks or equivalent)
  • Experience leveraging Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
  • Experience with data architecture concepts including data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT, APIs, and modern data integration patterns.
  • Experience translating between business leaders and technical teams across organizational boundaries, without formal authority

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with AI/GenAI experimentation and use-case prioritization (e.g., conversational analytics, document/lease intelligence)
  • Experience working in corporate real estate, occupancy, or portfolio data domains
  • Experience integrating data across multiple source systems (real estate, HR, security/badge/entry)
