General Description of Position:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market presence, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships. The Sales Account Manager works closely with internal teams including Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Account Management to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow Automotive and Industrial customer accounts
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned territories and product lines
- Identify new business opportunities and market expansion initiatives
- Coordinate with engineering, product development, operations, and customer service teams to support customer requirements
- Maintain key customer relationships and serve as the primary escalation point
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions
- Develop cross-functional knowledge of both Automotive and Industrial business operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in display technologies, electronics manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, automotive, or other technical product industries
- Experience working with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to support customer projects
- Knowledge of sales forecasting, contract management, and project coordination
- Experience developing new business and growing existing accounts
- Understanding of technical drawings, specifications, or manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
