Job Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for staffing, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, employee development, process improvement, and compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable customer requirements. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Preferred ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, operate a motor vehicle and forklift (if position requires); strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: inspecting manufactured parts (with and without magnification), preparing/analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings. Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. WORKING CONDITIONS The position may occasionally involve exposure to chemicals or other materials associated with warehouse operations, depending on the facility and assigned responsibilities.
