Summary/Objective:

As part of the Product Development and Engineering team, the Engineering Change Manager will drive complex, technically related programs and partner with a talented engineering team in crafting creative solutions. This position is an integral part of the engineering development teams and is responsible for driving the design changes through execution with a broad range of oversight tracking, and program management responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with development teams, Project Managers, and the Program Management Organization to establish and facilitate engineering change order submissions.
  2. Identify and manage risks with manufacturing for validation builds.
  3. Facilitate the plan for transition at the OEM customer with Technical Sales.
  4. Communicate requirements to internal and external partners and drive them to closure.
  5. Provide proactive and clear input to the project teams on schedules, issues, and deliverables such as core member of the Lunch Readiness Team.
  6. Effectively and consistently communicate overall Engineering Change Order status.

Working Conditions:

  1. Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  2. May sit for several hours at a time.
  3. Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  4. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
  2. 2+ years of technical project management experience.
  3. Manufacturing launch experience with demonstrated attention to detail in part number and transition planning and organization.
  4. Proven Track record of managing complex hardware and software production schedules.
  5. Experience in risk mitigation.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
