About the Internship
We are seeking a Summer Graphic Design Intern to join our Time to Shine Internship Program at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX. This paid, hands-on program is designed for students who are eager to gain real-world creative experience while contributing to meaningful brand and marketing initiatives.
Throughout the program, you'll gain exposure to graphic design, visual storytelling, campaign development, digital content, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration-while building a professional portfolio through real-world projects.
What You Will Do in This Role
Support the Global Creative team on real-world graphic design projects which will help you learn how to develop visual assets for marketing campaigns, digital channels, presentations, in-store assets and other Fossil brand collateral
Assist with layout, typography, illustration or graphic development, composition, color, and visual storytelling
Help create presentations, creative decks, mood boards, and branded collateral
Support the development of digital and print assets across Fossil Group brands
Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Brand, Merchandising, and other cross-functional partners
Learn how to ensure creative work aligns with established brand guidelines and visual identity
Research emerging design, cultural, and visual trends to inform creative work
Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback from designers and stakeholders
Organize and maintain creative files and assets
Partner with a dedicated mentor for creative guidance, feedback, and professional development
Participate in workshops, lunch & learns, and panel discussions
Present a capstone project to Fossil leadership at the end of the program
Bring fresh ideas, creativity, and a strong visual point of view to collaborative projects
Who You Are (Requirements)
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Design, or a related field, graduating between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028
Excited to work in-person at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX (Mon-Thurs onsite, Fri remote)
Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, color, and design fundamentals
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Familiarity with figma is a plus
Strong visual communication and presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to receive and incorporate creative feedback
Organized and comfortable working on multiple projects with varied deadlines
Passionate about graphic design, visual culture, fashion, branding, and storytelling
Portfolio required
