We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist Extern to join our team. This externship is designed for students currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program, providing them with the opportunity to gain practical experience in a real-world healthcare setting. Administers routine respiratory care responsibilities, including nebulization, Chest PT, IPPB, etc. Perform diagnostic procedures to include EKG, bedside spirometry, nocturnal oximetry, and ABGs. Assists in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Vocational school in Respiratory Care. Requires New Mexico Respiratory Care training permit. Must be CRTT eligible or currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory program. BLS Certification is required at the time of hire. We're all about well-being, starting with yours.
