Now hiring for a Data Analyst Location: Irvine, CA Pay Rate: $35.00-$40.00/hour Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, regular business hours Position Type: (Approximately) 6-month contract assignment Position Overview Seeking a highly technical Data & Analytics Administrator to support data analysis, reporting, and an upcoming used-vehicle pricing initiative. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SQL, Python, data structures, statistics, and financial modeling, with the ability to work directly with Big Data, AI/ML, and business teams. Responsibilities Query, analyze, organize, and validate large datasets using SQL and Python. Support Power BI dashboards, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analytics. Work with Oracle, relational databases, and Big Data environments. Support data feeds and ensure data accuracy, quality, and completeness. Assist with vehicle pricing, forecasting, financial modeling, and what-if analysis. Support development of a used-vehicle pricing model and organize multiple data inputs. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and highly technical Big Data, AI, and Machine Learning teams. Document data requirements, processes, and project materials. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, data engineering, financial analytics, or a related technical field. Strong hands-on SQL skills; candidates will complete a SQL assessment. Strong Python skills with experience using libraries such as NumPy/Pandas. Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures, and data relationships. Experience with Power BI and large datasets. Strong knowledge of statistics, forecasting, and/or financial modeling. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and highly technical teams. Preferred Automotive, remarketing, auction, CPO, Fleet, or used-vehicle pricing experience. Experience with AI/ML, Big Data, predictive analytics, or vehicle valuation. Experience with Oracle or similar relational database environments. Note: Automotive business knowledge can be taught; candidates must already possess a strong technical and analytical foundation.
