You'll work with sheet metal forming equipment and tools to manufacture quality components to engineering specifications. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Entry-to-intermediate mechanical aptitude Experience using measuring tools and shop math preferred Manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus Job Duties Set up and operate sheet metal forming machines and rolling/cold drawing equipment Measure, mark, lay out, deburr, and form sheet metal parts Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications Maintain a clean and safe work area Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Sheet Metal Associate. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
