What You'll Do:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, templates, and work orders to accurately lay out, measure, mark, and fabricate sheet metal and other materials.
- Set up, program, test, and operate fabrication equipment including punch, shear, and brake machines to cut, pierce, bend, and shape materials to specification.
- Assemble and finish components using welding, riveting, bolting, soldering, caulking, grinding, deburring, and other fabrication techniques.
- Inspect and measure completed parts using tools such as tape measures, squares, and calipers to verify quality, dimensions, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain machines, tools, and work areas; coordinate material availability, manage scrap or defective parts, and follow production schedules and safety requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ months of experience in fabrication, specifically forming and punching.
What Sets You Apart:
- Class A Operators must be able to perform or assist maintenance in performing necessary repairs to equipment.
- Specialized Training: CNC Programming.
- Knowledge of Basic shop math.
- Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.
- Able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Ability to promote and ensure a safe work environment; identifies, communicates, and eliminates hazards encountered during the regular course of work.
- Focused on meeting or exceeding the level of excellence of products, services, and work activities-measured against pre-set standards.
- Able to identify flaws and take corrective action.

Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Ability to drive a forklift and any other electrical material lifting/handling equipment for loading material to the machine and unloading raw material from trucks.
- Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs., and push/pull/slide heavy material.
- Must be able to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Job involves typically working indoors, being assigned to any of the different shifts, occasionally lifting heavy materials, wearing common safety equipment (cut-resistant gloves and sleeves, safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs), and being exposed to loud noises and the possibility of bumps, cuts, and scrapes.
