What You'll Do:
  • Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly using skilled hand tools and automated production equipment.
  • Follow technical specifications, blueprints, and documented procedures to complete wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
  • Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining required tolerances and blueprint specifications.
  • Clean tubes and modules and complete other routine production-related assembly tasks.
  • Communicate with team members, follow detailed instructions, and escalate issues to a supervisor when additional support is needed.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in J-STD soldering.
  • 1+ years of experience reading drawings/blueprints/work instructions.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Microscope experience.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Experience handing small products/microchips.
  • Working knowledge of electrical or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology.
  • Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production) Soldering certification.
  • Good hand/eye coordination - manual dexterity is necessary as will be working with glass products.
  • Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (necessary).
  • Close attention to detail and quality.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Teamwork oriented.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision if needed.
  • Ability to make quality decisions quickly.
  • Patience.
