Mail Clerk / Onsite - De Pere, Wisconsin

Why This Role Matters

Performs a variety of mailroom activities such as the sorting, organizing, batching of incoming mail and the processing of outgoing mail in a timely manner. Provides assistance with special projects or issues assigned to the group or location.

What You'll Do

* Accurately collects, sorts, and distributes claim mail received from external sources. Notifies departments with time sensitive material when mail arrives.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
* Prepares paper claim batches for processing by the repricing staff
* Matches repricing sheets to claims and files in appropriate payer bins.
* Manages client/payer updates and makes appropriate changes to payer bins used for sorting outgoing mail.
* Informs Team Lead and/or Supervisor of issues that may lead to service disruption to our clients.
* Scans claims into system
* Print completed claim files and look up pended claims

What You Will Bring
Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED
* 1-2 years experience in a mailroom
* Excellent organization and communication skills
* Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
* Accurate data entry skills; working knowledge of PC applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $37,500 - $38,235.
Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and the comprehensive benefits outlined in the My Total Value section.
