Job Description

In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. You will collaborate closely with Equipment Engineers and the area Manager/Group Leader to identify and resolve equipment and process-related issues in support of production goals. You will also actively participate in area shift pass-down activities and manage your workload according to priorities set by production requirements.

This Job Is For You If:

  • You can perform preventative maintenance tasks and rebuild assemblies.
  • You have essential knowledge of hardware for chemical delivery, processing, and handling in semiconductor equipment.
  • You can assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems, and perform technical servicing of semiconductor production and support equipment.
  • You can participate in developing, documenting, and improving semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems, working from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
  • You can interface with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support resolution of equipment-specific issues.
  • You can perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on malfunctioning equipment.
  • You can recommend equipment improvements and interface with engineering as required.
  • You can perform routine maintenance on Dry Etch area systems.
  • You can participate in ERT/Safety events.
  • You are a self-starter with the initiative to learn and develop.
  • You can work within established procedures and written or verbal instructions on a wide variety of technical, non-standardized, semi-routine assignments, recognizing deviations from accepted practices and taking corrective action.
  • You can work well with others and help foster good working relationships.

Job Requirements

Must Have:

  • Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics or Mechanical. Military training and experience will also be considered.
  • 2+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing

  • Hands-on experience with one of these tools: LAM Rainbow Family, LAM 4520i, LAM 4520XL, LAM Rainbow Platform, LAM Alliance Family, LAM 9600 DFM, LAM 9400 SE, or LAM Alliance A6 PLATFORM
