Security Officer Access Control Specialist

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, monitoring activity, and providing outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will support smooth operations through clear communication and a professional presence. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and shipments in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to distribution operations.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and escalate observations per site policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
