As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Perimeter Assessment in Research Triangle Park, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-area exteriors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, equipment issues, spills, or other unusual conditions to appropriate site personnel while following required protective-equipment protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
