The Division of Biological and Biomedical Systems invites applications for a full-time ranked non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor faculty position in Biomedical Engineering. We encourage applications from individuals who identify life science questions, employ engineering, scientific, and technological approaches to address these issues, and create solutions. Preferences will be given to biomedical engineering candidates working on biomaterials, bioimaging, or neurobiology but other areas will be considered. Qualifications: The primary attributes we seek in candidates are the potential or demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and mentoring. Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate students, stay current in advances in research in their field, and contribute to service for the University and their respective field of study. Experience supporting students from multifarious backgrounds is a plus. Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, and experience. This is a 12-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for ranked promotion. Our academic schedules and workload provide for a positive work/life balance. Application Materials
